The text consists mainly of one column and it has additional side notes. On every page there is a heading with the page number, name of the book and the current chapter. The text size varies between three sizes and there are many different fonts.
The illustrations are mostly architectural and in perspective, they also have some great detailing. The other illustrations have a religious motive or are a religious object and are also detailed.
The images are in the centre of the page or at the beginning or ending of the pages and some of them are full page illustrations. All in one, you could say that the pictures are all quite big. They are also scattered throughout the book.
The images have their own titles and descriptions and are listed right in the front of the book, with the title: A catalogue of the several views, cut in copper.
The images in the book are quite important, because of the size and the explanations to the images. But the text ist the most important aspect of the book.
In my opinion the images are as important as the text and contribute a big part to the content.
