The book is devided in three parts. The first part is a dedication. The second parte is a long introduction to the architecture of the time and an explenation of some tecnical things that you need to know to understand what he explains in the third part. The last part of the book is the main part of the book, because there are all the theories of the writer to how plan a city at their time.
The text is organised on the page with great margins around the text, and it’s written in small type.
As the book is devided in three, the first two parts don’t have illustrations out of the decoration of the titles. In the third part you have as many illustrations as written pages because the illustration
takes up a whole page or is to be pulled out. To every illustrated page, with tecnical drawings and schematics, follows an explenatory text.
The illustration are very important for the book though there is more taxt in the entire book.
