When I had a closer look to my old book “the theory of perspective”, page 2 to 5 of the second chapter caught my eye instantly. While in the first chapter it seems to be a continues text, in the second the paragraphs became shorter. Every paragraph had his own title, while there were 5 to 6 paragraphs per page. It looks like the second chapter is for definitions.
Also the second part of the book was really interesting. In this part there was no text, however there were plans and sketches.
In the end also page 22,23 of the second chapter is found really interesting, because the paragraphs were now even shorter and also titeled after numbers.
