I chose these three pages because they captured my eyes immediately. Through their detailed drawings, one can clearly see the structure of such a capital. On the two pages with the longer texts it is explained where the individual elements originated and how the pillars are composed. Because the drawings show a cross-section of a column and a frontal view, it is possible to imagine the capitals even more clearly in space. I like those drawings because each one of them has a symmetric structure that appeals to me. The first two pages show richly decorated capitals with mainly Corinthian elements. The third drawing is a simpler and more quiet Ionic composition with a different depiction from the first two.
