Task 2_Pages_Nouvelle maniere de fortifier les places - Archived Posted on 11/14/202009/13/2021 This page stands out clearly – and this quite literally, as the drawing is taller than the book itself. Seemingly placed on an empty spread, the attentive observer might discover a block of text shining through from underneath the thin paper, yet there is no chance of decode what’s been written there, or even on which piece of paper the ink is. Also, it is questionable whether the drawing was produced by Blondel (the author) himself, as he is addressed as “Sir Blondel” (and most likely didn’t do so himself). Yet another interesting drawing lain out on another spread, apparently referring to the constructions above and putting them in context. Just an assumption though. A table full of angles corresponding to the “new fortress” by Blondel.
