I added these two pages because you can see how the author structured this book. He divides his text into different chapters, most of them with variyng amounts of subchapters the “osservazione” – observations in which he supposedly details his views on the topic at hand.
Here you can see parts in the text where some kind of measurements were written down (possibly as a guideline how you should build). It seems like these measurements were taken from real life examples just how it was practised in times of the renaissance as people back then tried to rediscover the rules and principles by which the ancients had built their structures.
There are no pictures in the book except for this ornament which shows up twice in the book. The only decorative elements apart from this are the first letters of each new chapter, which are artistically placed inside small frames depicting various landscapes.
