Picture 1: Geometrical Section of the Temple of Jupiter (p. 116)
Picture 2: General Plan of the Town and Fortifications of SPALATRO (p. 52)

I have chosen picture number one because it shows a section of a temple. It reminds me of what we have learned in the first few weeks of our courses at ETH and it was interesting to see, that I was able to read it without hesitation. Further it is the only section of an entire building which i found was an interesting aspect as well. The second picture shows a landscape plan. The fascinating thing about it is that some aspects of it are painted in a perspective and others are painted in a bird’s-eye-view. This made it hard for me to actually read the plan in a geographic way. In return it gets clear what the most important elements were.
