The book «Oevres d’architecture de Vincent Scamozzi » seems similar to Vitruvius’ work. It appears like a revised and translated version with Scamozzi’s own additions that can be used as a form of handbook for architects. The pages above are all chosen from the segment on the five orders to which Scamozzi has dedicated a great part of his book to. Both the pictures and the text show a immense attention to detail and dedication to the craft. The pictures are all of brilliant quality, some larger ones even get dedicated pages that are able to fold out. Pictures in the book serve the purpose of illustration although some seem more like a proper construction plan than an illustration.
