This spread is representing the typical structure of this book for new chapters. On The left page you have a rather short text format and on the right page a supporting drawing. What pops in the eye on the left is the recurring order of the elements: Title, Chapter, an illustrative strip, a very dominant first letter of the Text and on the bottom a sign.
On this spread you clearly see the way of printing. The drawings are likely to be copper engravings. You can tell from the mark of the copper plate wich still had some paint on it.
This spread is interesting because you can see the construction of the preceding drawing. It’s constructed of a ground view and an elevation.
