Even if the journey with my book is coming to an end it was an interesting time. Through the several tasks that we made I learned more and more about my book.
Meeting the book in a different way not as usual just trough reading was a new experience, I think it is exactly what made it so special. The way we approached to the book was the important point.
Task 1: Location
At the beginning of the project I was shocked because I knew my book is written in a foreign language. But as I’ve done the first task I began to realize that I don’t have to understand the content of the book to execute it.
Task 2: Contact
Now I was really confused. I didn’t understand the sense of this exercise. During the video of 20min I noticed that my book contains a lot of illustrations and I kind of liked it.
Task 3:
Surprisingly it was a very short task. Although I learned that my book was not written only by one person…
Task 4:
Again I occupied myself intensely with my book and begun to understand its structure. It was separated in two main chapters. Each of them with many subchapters.
Task 5:
I realized for this task I have to understand my book. I needed to know what it liked and what not. I developed a better knowledge for the content of my book. Actually I was able to talk about some keywords concerning my book. With the last task I reached an understanding for my book that I wouldn’t have believe at the beginning.
For me the way of meeting the book made it a special project. I feel much closer to my book then before even though I never read a page of it. The work with the book seemed like a story or even better like a journey with ups and downs and with every task I learned something new about it.
In my opinion it was a good experience although I was very critical at the beginning of this project. The only negative point I want to mention is the problem with the time. Some of the exercises claimed a lot of time. I think certain tasks lost a lot of quality because it was not possible to invest so much time just for one task.
