In this book, the author talks about the different churches of Rome. Each church has its own description. The book is organized in 4 parts. The first is dedicated to said churches, the second one is a list and an explanation of the different seasons and the feasts that take place in each of them. The third part is dedicated to “L’antichita figurate dell’alta cita di oma”, it describes the growth of the roman city in 89 chapters, each one dedicated to a different building and sometimes illustrated by a small drawing.
At the end of the book one can find a description of the empire made of lists listing all the important political, religious and societal positions.
The pages of the book measure 180 times 130 mm And the book is 20 mm thick. It consists of approximately 440 pages and 230 illustrations. Compared to the standard dimensions, we can see that the book has the height of a sexagesimo- quarto, but the approximate size is somewhere between that of a Tricesimo- secondo and a Sextodecimo.
