General subject of the book:
The book’s exterior looks brown, probably binded in leather. It looks quite used and slightly stained. The title and the name of the author of the book is written on the wooden sidepart in gold. The pages of the book feel stiff and are thicker than a book’s pages these days.
Organisation of the book:
On the first page is the frontispiece. It shows the title and the author’s name as well as the year and place of publication. Baldi writes about Vitruvius work and makes comments on his theory in a first part of the book. There is a second part, that is much smaller than the first. It is about Vitruvius life. The title of this chapter is translated as “Vitruvius diary”.
The book contains a total of 207 pages. There are 12 small illustrations in the book.
