The book has a length of 440mm, breadth of 300mm and a depth of 40mm. With these measurements it fits best into the standard book size “Folio”. On the first sight, my book seemed very impressive, mostly because of its massive size and the very detailed cover. The cover itself made me think once again about how much time they must have spent on the filigreed designed ornament. There is no inscription on the cover nor on the back of the book.
The book has a total number of 330 pages which includes a total of 26 chapter. Hieronymi Pradi et Joannis Baptistae Villalpandi societate Jesu in Ezechielem explanations is a well structured book. Majority of the book consists of text filled pages with two collums. One thing I noticed about the book is that the last word of the page is always the first word of the following page, whether its in the middle of a text or the next page starts with a title. The artwork covers ten pages, fully filled and very impressive black and white illustrations. All these paintings had a religious topic like the last supper.
I couldn’t find anything about the author de Prado or Villalpando nor a summary of the book because of the language.
