A. [i.e. Augustin-Charles] d’Aviler ” is a book by Augustin D’Aviler about the the ancient architectural orders and their intricacies. In his book D’Aviler presumably (judging by the illustrations as I can’t decipher french at such a level) describes the different way structures were to be built in a specific order and how to design specific details within them.
The Book soesnt have any appearant chapters however the first 55 pages, which are numbered with roman numbers, seem to contain the preamble with a dedication part and basic explainations
In total there are about 60 illustrations in the book, which are usually placed on the lefthand page. Some of said illustrations are put on bigger pages which fold outwards to extend the image.
As for the dimensions: 28x21x6.5cm which makes it a Quarto format
