The book „Vollständige Anweisung zu der Civil BauKunst“ by Nikolaus Goldmann is like a dictionary about architectural vocabulary. It explains all major terms of architecture and adds some instructions about the usage. There are different subjects of terms like different rooms, decorative elements and whole buildings. All these terms are written down in five languages and are explained in German.
The book is organized in two parts. The first part is about rural architecture. The second part is about general architectural terms. The first part is organized in long paragraphs, while the second part is organized like a common dictionary. Here, one can find short paragraphs which explain certain terms.
