The book is not the original because it wasn’t available, so it’s only a copy from 1971 with 3 books of Joseph Fruttenbach in it. Despite that, that book is not that young: it has thinner pages and a linen cover. Some word in the copied page of the original on are changed into modern letter and not the usual old high german characters.
It is about the private architecture of houses for families. It has 14 chapters and is sectioned in a written part and plans. At the end some drawing of the house, with the ground plan and some views of the ornaments around the doors or the windows. It is only one volume, but it has several books from Joseph Fruttenbach.
The book is 162 x 250mm which is circa a Royal Octavo. The book is in the 3 in 1 Volume and it is 480mm height. It is rather big than usual books and quite heavy, but it’s no wonder because it is 3 books in one.
In total the book has 119 pages, but only 78 written on it and circa fourteen with plans which are the only illustrations in the book despite the front lettering.
