When you have the book in front of you it’s a very special moment. Orbis Miraculum is about 350 years old and right at the moment when you can hold the book you really realize how old it is. The case of the book is made of leather and the pages are not in the best condition because the margin is worn out and it seems like it had been used a lot. A small detail that you can see in this copy is that there are dog-ears at the bottom left corner that had been smoothed out. The texts sometimes have many different fonts and on the sides you can notice some Torah references.
The book holds 10 chapters which are distributed over 371 pages. There are 12 more pages in the front where you can find the list of contents and other information and texts about the book and the index in the back adds 9 others pages. Although the book should have a certain amount of pages that is listed, this book has some pages where the numbers are in the wrong order and two pages e.g. have the same number.
Orbis Miraculum has 13 illustrations and it has a lot of tables where some things are listed.
The height of the book is 300 millimeters, the width is 190 millimeters and the depth is 41 millimeters.
