Hi! After searching for a while I came across your post and as I read your text I immediately found a lot of similarities between our books. My book “Perspectiva pictorum et architectorum” by Andrea Pozzo, tries to give instructions for drawing in perspective. As I understand it, your book is also about perspective drawing. The big difference is that my book combines text and illustrations, while yours is strictly separated. Our books were also written around the same time although not in the same country.

Hi! I came across this post by searching the words “perspective drawing”. I read you’re argument about the book and saw a lot of similarities with mine. Both books seems to be a guide on drawing in architecture. Especially on drawing in perspective. Although yours is more focused on shadows and reflections, the structure is similar to mine. I also noticed that the first letters of the page are nicely decorated and highlighted exactly in the same style as in my Book: “Perspectiva pictorum et architectorum” by Andrea Pozzo.
