(Connection with: Architectura Hydraulica, Oder: Anleitung zu denen Brunnenkünsten”)
Hello! When i was searching for a Connection for my book “Le Fontane di Roma nelle piazze, e luoghi publici della città” by Giovanni Battista Falda i obviously started my search with the word “water”. The first book that appeared was your book “Architectura Hydraulica, Oder: Anleitung zu denen Brunnenkünsten” by Caspar Walter.
Even though my book is written in 1684 and your book is written in the year 1765, our books have a lot in common. For example they share an interest about water resources. The book “Architectura Hydraulica, Oder: Anleitung zu denen Brunnenkünsten” is more about how a fountain works technically. My book is about how it is designed and how it looks beautifully. What they also have in common, are the big illustrations with a great amount of details. These often take up more than a single page and even stretch across a fold out page in both of our books. From what i read about your book it seems like it has also detailed descriptions of the corresponding drawing. My book has only one sentence of description to every illustration.
