The book Practical Architecture written by M. Bullet, an architect of the King and the Royal Academy of Architecture. A very useful book for architects & builders in the 17th century for all homeowners and for those who want to build. As well we have exciting comparisons of modern and ancient surveying techniques, current uses of construction and structural analysis of walls, terraces, etc….
It also has details and prices of masonry, roofing, carpentry, joinery, hardware, etc..
Also interesting are the prices of various materials in 1787. Among other things of prices in a survey of glazing, worn iron, etc.
Likewise, on the subject of easements and reports of premises that affect buildings of servants.
In the book Practical Architecture, which includes the general and special construction of buildings; the detail, measurement and estimation of each part, knowledge, masonry, carpentry, roofing, carpentry, locksmithing, glazing, plumbing, ink, gilding, sculpture, marble work, mirror work, pottery, etc..
