I chose these two pages because I really like the Illustrations of the columns (or Column-Heads) and also enjoy the translucent paper that’s making it feel like the pages are merging into each other. It’s kind of a strange mixture of these floating, detailed columns and the block-text with the linear, informal drawing on top….

There are many beautiful illustrations in Martino Bassi’s “Dispareri in Materia d’Architettura, et Perspettiva”. I have chosen these two because they obviously refer to the title and are clearly related to each other. It would be interesting to find out exactly how.
