Giovanni Poleni – “Exercitationes Vitruvianae”
These are the digital versions of the two pages I chose. I liked how the author divided the different paragraphs of the first page and the second page I chose because of the big “I” on the left side of the page. It reminded me of a scene in a television show.
The book was in a relatively good shape when me met it in real life. The librarian told us that it was renovated at least one time and that he could see that by the way the bookbinding was done and also the thin paper on top of the cover. The two pages I chose were by accident one of the thinnest (127) and one of the thickest (171) pages in the book. This was surprising to me because I forgot that this could be the case with old books.
