I have decided to use these two pages because I really enjoy how Francesco Bianchini started each new chapter. The big Title with a short introduction/explanation underneath. After that, he starts with a nice designed and big first letter. Nowadays you see this kind of page design in primarily in novels which I personally find disappointing.
Being able to actually see the book in person I was fascinated by how well the book has been maintained. Although when you go through the pages you can actually see the next page through already which makes it a bit uncomfortable to read. The book is also pretty thick since it has more than 300 pages and because of that it’s also pretty heavy. The dimensions of the book are about 20x45x8 cm.
I did really enjoy seeing a book with this age in person and would like to do it again.
