The reason I chose this page is because to me, pavement is a floor feature that nowadays tends to be neglected or even completely set aside, although it brings a lot to a room (or building) and can truly be a defining piece of it.This image caught my attention because it shows a drawing of a cornice, a building feature that I have been paying more attention to lately. In that case I found interesting that the cornice had details that were explained below thanks to a drawing and doted lines, I found the way of representing very telling.Picture of the plate XCIVPicture of the plate XIThe book is smaller and thinner than I had expected. What caught my attention at first is the smell of the old pages, it’s something that’s very unique and that I really like.The book being really old, the cover, which is made out of leather, has crackled. The binding, which is also made out of leather, is nonetheless not crackled. Moreover the book has some really nice looking golden details on the cover.
