The first spread that I have chosen shows the beginning of the book. The couple of pages that come beforehand, are simply the preface and the books dedications.
The structure of the right page seems to differ from the general norm that was used in the book. It is the only page where an illustration is being placed on the same page as its accompanied text.
The second spread shows how the pages of the book are generally assembled. A big image (that shows great detail) is placed on a fold out page next to its corresponding text.
The third spread shows the books final pages. Written on the left page is a sonnet ( there are two in the book) with four verses. I assume it to be about the cathedral of Florence.
