Your book seems to be quite similar to mine. As my book is called “Nouvelle manière de fortifier les places”, I used the word “military in the word search”. Both of our books seem to discuss ways to strengthen places. They have been written in roughly the same time, as my book was published only 6 years before yours. By also looking at your other posts I found out that our books even have a very similar appearance, with drawings in the end to explain the concepts. The most obvious difference of our books is that yours was published in Italy while mine was published in France.

I found your book searching through the collection for books from a similar time as mine. My book, “Nouvelle manière de fortifier les places”, was written in 1683, which is only 10 years after yours. Oddly enough, our books seem to have similar content as well. The physical appearance you described matches my book as well. My book is small and thin as well and it contains drawings which are folded and bigger than the book itself. Furthermore, my book is also adressed to high society people; in my case to the king of France. I got the impression that our books are pretty much identical apart from the geographical position they were written in.
