Comment on Argument_108:
While searching for links to other books on the blog, I first looked for the title of my book “Dell’architettura” (by Mario Gioffredo) and came across your book which has the same title.
I then found out that the whole title of your book is “Dell’architettura. Dialogi di Ermenegildo Pini C.R.B” and that our books are from a similar period, around 1770.
I was surprised that your book seems to contain a lot of text, while my book contains a lot of drawings. Nevertheless, the drawings I found in your book look very similar to some of the drawings in my book and also the mathematical interest seems to be part of both books.
I found it very interesting to take a closer look at these two books with the same title and compare them.

Looking for books similar to my book “Dell’architettura” by Mario Gioffredo, I searched for the keyword ‘columns’ and came across your book called “A treatise on civil architecture” by William Chambers.
When I saw the pictures of your book in your post Greetings_93, the drawings from your book reminded me very much of those from my book. Especially the level of detail of the ornaments on the columns and the mathematical explanations are very similar in my book.
Also the size of our books seems to be very similar, although yours looks a little bit bigger. However, I was amazed at how good your book looks from the outside, because mine is so broken that you can’t even read a title or anything else, even though our books were published around a similar time.
I found it very exciting to compare our books and discover the many similarities, even though my book is Italian and yours is English.
