The writer dedicated the Book to Giovanni Napoletani Studiosi d‘archittetura. But in the beginning he was flattering the King. In the book he is talking about the pursuit of an harmonious building.
They are talking about the shape and length of pilasters. On that topic they explain words like “modulo” and what they mean for architects. And then they explain what kind of modulo for example doric pilasters are.
