The book regole generali di architecturaby Sebastiano Serlio is the fourth volume of the seven-part series of books he wrote on architecture and its principles. he published his fourth book in 1537 in Venice. In it he summarized the basic rules of architecture, more precisely the five orders of columns and their use, which are illustrated in the form of texts and illustrations. The viewed physical copy is stored in the Oechslin Library in Einsliedeln.
