«Architectura Civilis» written by Joseph Furttenbach (argument_25) was the first book I came across during my searching. The similarity between this and my book is, that the authors write a lot about public buildings like churches and chapels. These buildings are analyzed by the authors, and they explain, how they are constructed. They both work with some drawings and plans to get a better understanding about the building.
The second book that caught my attention was «Delle basiliche antiche» written by Enea Arnaldi (argument_106). Enea Arnaldi and Leonhard Christoph Sturm explain in a very similar way how different churches were built. They both use also elevations, sections, plans and sketches. The importance for the two authors is, that they can separate clearly between the different churches and buildings and to list their characteristics. In the book we see also that both start with special fonts and symbols.
