The full title of the book is: Dell’architettura. Dialogi di Ermenegildo Pini C.R.B. On the same page, where the title is written, there is also a remark of when and where it was printed. The book was made in Milano in 1770 in the Stamperia Marelliana. The title itself at this point only reveals, that the autor, Ermenegildo Pini aims to conduct a dialogue about architecture. The exact topic isn’t mentioned at this point. Although there is no List of content, the book is divided into two chapters, which are called Dialogo I and Dialogo II. In the first Dialogue he writes – as the title „Delle Cupole“ states – about domes. To describe the topic of domes he is not using Pictures or drawings, but instead he uses countless mathematical formulas in order to make his point. For me these formulas are almost impossible to understand, since the exact context of each formula is unclear at this point. The second chapter or in this case dialog discusses the topic of „Fortificazione“ or fortification. In this chapter he is also explaining at lot with the help of formulas instead of drawings. Drawing, plans and illustrations of a dome are added in the appendix of the book. On some of the illustrations there are marks to which he refers to in the text. The whole book consists of 118 pages including the books cover and the appendix. The format of the book ist a little larger than a A4 sheet
