Greetings_293 Posted on 11/11/202104/21/2022 XU Sining, 21-945-480, 293 I choose this page because in the end of each chapter, there is always a “badge” like flowers, leaves and signs. This one includes two women looking at each other, which is interesting. The table above also indicates that the Author was trying to explain architecture in a scientific way and until today it is still a good way to analyze architecture. I find the book smaller and lighter than I thought. It is about A5 size and has a thickness about 3 cm. The pages are yellow and seemed fragile. In the book I also find many other interesting badges in the end of each chapter. Some are big, complicated while some are small and simple. The book has two bands. One contains all the text and the other contains all the graphs. The text part has portrait format and the graph part is organized in Landscape format. This page is special because it uses two pages to draw the gable. The pages are folded together. Like today, the scales, description, sizes and degree are indicated in the plan. Sadly this band is not given in the library. Maybe it is too easy to be damaged or it is under a different name. Therefore the size is unknown but the quality of the paper should be the same with the text band, which is light and fragile. I also find some comments in the book. The Author is unknow. But it is interesting to find out the although the book is written in 1777 (M.DCC.LXXVII), the comment indicates something dating back from 1754 (M.DCC.LIV). Ps. This book is not assigned to any of the groups, therefore I numbered it after the last book.
