I choose the first page because it consists two different materials, paper and threads, giving this page a special character. When man cover the knot on the left side with hand, the threads on the right side seems just like usual colourful lines drawn on the paper. But they are actually threads going through the page and expanding its original room, which makes the image from 2D to 3D. The second page is the page before the first page that i post and originally a blank paper between two graphics with threads. The yellow print suppose to reflect the position of the threads in next page. However the real position of the threads is different with the position of the print. I can’t help myself from wondering how long it takes to leave such a yellow print on the paper, when and why the position of the threads was changed.
The book consists two bands. The first band is for the text part and the second one for the graphics. The first band is about 2cm thick. I do want to post the same physical pages with the digital ones, but they are all in second band, which is not allowed to borrow because it’s kind of 3D and probably too fragil to view. So I post the general description of the second band in the text part as well as the description of the graphic I’ve chosen.
