The main topic of my book, a book of architecture containing drawings of buildings and ornaments, are observations of several people of ancient buildings in Great Britain. For example, the first building, which is shown in the book, is the St. Martin in the Fields church, which is located in the centre of London. The organisation of the book is mainly arranged after it’s drawings. There is an introduction first, in which you can read, why the book was written. After that, until page 32 there is a long list with descriptions to all the drawings in the book. The rest of the book is filled with 150 copper engravings (illustrations), including perspectives, sections, footprints and elevations. The whole book contains 331 pages. With a height of 510mm, a breath of 380mm and a width of 50mm, the book is surprisingly big. Because of those sizes I would relate it to the traditional standard book size of “folio”, which is the largest one and includes all the books from 30 centimetres.
