Chapter IX is begginning with « Being in Rom in the year 1533… » wich caught my attention. On the left handside there is a great drawing of a cornice. This spreads marks the transition from chapter VIII to chapter IX. It is a great spread to understand the architecture of the book as most of the components of the layout are visible: Letterine, heading, header, footnotes, pagination.

The book presents all caracteristics of an ancient book, the strike as well as the inaccuracy of the print caused by lead characters.
